I am glad to share with you some representations from the fruits of about 40 years of my artistic, poetic and academic work, since 1981 when I graduated Bezalel Academy of Art, Jerusalem, Israel.

See under "Gallery" images and text representing many exhibitions as listed under "Artistic bio",  and an article studying  my art and poetry under "About".

See under "poetry" some poems published in my books and in magazines in Hebrew (three volumes of poems), In Hungarian (exile) and in English (Death Of The King). This section includes also some of my translation into Hebrew.

The academic field (PhD, approved 2015) is represented by "Academic bio". My dissertation is a monograph about the poetry of Avigdor Hameiri (An Israeli writer from Hungarian source). More to come soon.

Dr. Miriam Neiger-Fleischmann

                               Exile
I am a poet exiled
to fields of color.
Seeds
words in the furrow
of the brush
sprout rhymed lines
upon soft canvases
fertilize them
with pigments,
make pictures grow.
I am a painter exiled
from fields of color.
I assemble
words fallen
from heaven
like rebel angels
looking for salvation;
I arrange urgent letters
on restless sheets,
build spectacles there.
